Craps: Myths

Craps Trivia and Superstitions

Opposite sides of dice - tops and bottoms - always add up to 7. That is, 1 is opposite 6, 2 opposite 5, and 3 opposite 4. Adjacent sides never add up to 7. If the total of two dice are 6 for example the bottom of the two dice will always be 8 since the top and bottom totals add up to 14.

Almost every belief a craps player has is based off of untruths and superstitions. Like when the dice are thrown off the table, most craps players think that the next roll will be a seven. It always has a 1 in 6 chance of showing.

When a point is established the word "Seven" is not to be spoken or thought of so it is less likely to show.

A first time female shooter, known as a virgin, will always have a long winning roll.

You can find many other craps myths at sites on the internet, no more will be shown here.

Myths are just that. Not true!
